Follow the asphalt road in direction of Grube - turn left into the forest trail leading up to the Tumpen waterfall. Take the trail on the left towards Gehsteig Alm and Vordere Tumpener Alm as soon as you reach the last junction. The path on the right takes you to Armelen Hütte. Altitude gain: 908Duration: 2 hours (up and down 4 hours)Return: same route or a mountain tour to the "Ersten Karkopf" an further to the Armelen Hut and back to Tumpen- whole-time hot meal- regional and tyrolean specialities- Alpine breakfast available by advance reservation- overnight stay: 1 Hut for 4 person- Dogs allowable - on request
