The picturesque church of Niederthai, a true Baroque gem, is consecrated to Saint Anthony. Inaugurated and consecrated in 1698. The interior features a precious high altar in Baroque style and fresco paintings of diverse saints. Rich stucco decorations which still remind of the great importance of this parish church in the past.

The Vordere Tumpenalm lies at an altitude of 1.831 meters, surrounded by lash green meadows and the Ötztal mountains.Hiking path:Parking: parking lot at the elementary schoolTrailhead of this tour is Tumpen´s elementary school. Follow the asphalt road in direction of Grube - turn left into the forest trail leading up to the Tumpen waterfall. Take the trail on the left towards Gehsteig Alm and Vordere Tumpener Alm as soon as you reach the last junction. The path on the right takes you to Armelen Hütte. Altitude gain: 908Duration: 2 hours (up and down 4 hours)Return: same route or a mountain tour to the "Ersten Karkopf" an further to the Armelen Hut and back to Tumpen- whole-time hot meal- regional and tyrolean specialities- Alpine breakfast available by advance reservation- overnight stay: 1 Hut for 4 person- Dogs allowable - on request
The e-bike charging station is located near by the "Ötztal Cycle Trail" and vis-á-vis the ÖTZTALEREI Café - Burgerbar - Eiswerkstatt.A small covered seating by the charging station or the Ötztalerei invites you to linger while the e-bike is charging.At the charging station you can charge all common e-bike batteries.

Scenic "Horlachbach" brook rushes down from Niederthai into the valley from a height of 159 meters. The several meter-high area filled with water crystals can be seen from far. These clouds of water dust particles also gave the name to the "Stuiben Falls".he water particles are said to have refreshing and varied other positive effects on the hikers' health. The positive effect is scientifically proven, especially close to the water dust you are on the ion platform.A new designed hiking trail and stair construction allows you to experience the Stuibenfall at close range. Hikers and mountaineers pass the viewing platforms and the roaring waters via approx. 700 steps and an exposed 80 meter long suspension bridge leading to Niederthai - the origin of the waterfall.What's more, the wonderful Alpine flora in the falls' surroundings is a highlight not to be missed. And with a bit of luck, on sunny days you also have the chance to admire the most colorful rainbows.The Stuiben Falls are floodlight every Wednesday throughout the year. Baroque-style church built in 1665, renewed in 1719. Redesigned in Gothic style in the course of the 19th century. Artistic western steeple dating back to 1884, wonderful lancet windows. The facade features three Rococo frescoes (weather makers, good shepherd). Inside the church you find a barrel vault and relatively modest decorations dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries. Funerary chapel with barrel vault and wonderful image of the Virgin Mary.
