Action at Rettenbach Glacier

Faster, higher, steeper - Find your challenge in Sölden

The Sölden glacier ski area covers 34.3 kilometers of slopes at altitudes between 2675 and 3250 meters. Scenic Rettenbach Glacier, together with Tiefenbach Glacier, is one of the largest accessible glacier areas in Austria. Rettenbachferner can be found in the northern part of the glacier ski arena and has a lot to offer in terms of steepness compared to Tiefenbachferner. Ambitious skiers will mainly find red and black ski slopes here, which require more skills and technique. Both glaciers, Rettenbach and Tiefenbach, are connected to one another. Ski aficionados can comfortably change from one glacier ski mountain to the next either on skis through the 200 m long ski tunnel or via connecting mountain lifts.
