Prize Game

The prize game is organized by Ötztal Tourismus. Natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and are not currently employed by Ötztal Tourismus, Sport Glanzer GmbH & Co KG, Sport4You GmbH & Co KG, SunUp Handels GmbH, Sport - Brugger GmbH, Sporthütte Fiegl GmbH are eligible to participate. The prize game starts on 27 October  2023; closing deadline for participating in the prize game is 30 November 2023 at 11:59 pm. Late entries will not be taken into account.

Participation in the prize is only permitted if the participant registers personally. Participation via automated procedures (e.g. via competition clubs or prize game service providers) is not permitted. In such a case and in the event of violations of the general participation terms or manipulation, we reserve the right to exclude the participants concerned.

Multiple comments made by the same Facebook user and/or the same person will be counted as only one participation in the prize game. A jury will assess the comments received based on authenticity and creativity and then select the winners of the prize game at their own discretion. For this purpose, all “Facebook names” of the participants are recorded and stored in order to determine the winner. Only address details of the winners will later be recorded and will only be used to send the prize. All participants have statutory rights to information and revocation.

The winners must answer by 14 December 2023 at 11:59 pm and provide their address details so that the prize can be sent.
The winners will be notified directly on our Facebook page after the prize game deadline by replying through the official "Ötztal Tourismus" account to the original comment that entered the prize game.

In this comment winners will be asked to provide their address details via Facebook direct message so that their prize can be sent by Ötztal Tourismus. In the event that a winner does not contact Ötztal Tourismus independently by 14 December 2023 at 11:59 pm, the prize will expire and the winners will lose their right to have the prize sent. No liability is assumed for the announcement of winners and its correctness.

Ötztal Tourismus is entitled to transmit personal data to third parties in order to deliver the prize. They will contact the winner directly in order to deliver the prize. Only one prize is possible per participant, which cannot alternatively be paid out in cash. Claims to prizes cannot be transferred to other persons. Ötztal Tourismus shall be released from all obligations once the prize is delivered. Ötztal Tourismus is only liable for legal and material defects in the event of intent or gross negligence.

Ötztal Tourismus reserves the right to cancel or end the prize game at any time without prior notice. Ötztal Tourismus will make use of this option in particular if proper implementation of the prize game cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or hardware or software errors) or for legal reasons. If such early termination was caused by the behavior of a participant, Ötztal Tourismus may demand compensation from this person for the damage incurred.

These general terms and conditions of participation and the entire legal relationship between the participants and Ötztal Tourismus are subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. If specific provisions of the general terms and conditions of participation are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. Incomplete or invalid provisions must be supplemented or replaced in such a way that another appropriate regulation is found that comes closest in economic terms to what corresponds to the meaning and purpose of the ineffective or incomplete provision. Legal recourse is excluded.

The prize game is not connected to Facebook and is in no way supported, accompanied or controlled by Facebook. The recipient of the information provided is not Facebook, but Ötztal Tourismus. All questions, comments or complaints should therefore not be directed to Facebook, but to Ötztal Tourismus. No claims of any kind can be made against Facebook as a result of participation. Participation does not give rise to any claims against Facebook.
