This easily ascending route travels through meadows and forests from Gries along the Stations of the Cross to the newly installed vantage platform.Here you enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views of the secluded mountain village with the mighty Stubai Alps, Schrankogel peak and Mutterberger Seepitze summit as lovely backdrop.The slightly descending trail leads to the Collegiate Chapel. Panoramabank am Klettersteig

The Panorama Bench is a very special resting spot along the Eckkamm Via Ferrata, combining the joy of climbing with the beauty of nature. The tour begins on a forest trail that gently leads toward the Alpengasthof am Feuerstein. From there, the path continues to the starting point of the via ferrata, where the adventure truly begins.About three-quarters of the way through the route, the Panorama Bench invites climbers to take a break. Here, you can take a deep breath, let your gaze wander across the stunning mountain landscape, and recharge for the final stretch.At the end of the via ferrata, you enter a shady forest above the Alpengasthof, which offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious Tyrolean specialties – perfect for a well-earned stop. Afterward, the enchanting Sagenweg (Legend Trail) provides a relaxing return route to the starting point, offering the perfect opportunity to reflect on the day’s adventures.
