A weak disturbance is followed by a strengthening southerly foehn wind! The Alps are located at the front of an Atlantic low-pressure system in a foehn-like, changeable southwesterly flow. Not only are there extensive cloud fields, which often push the sun into the background, but a disturbance is also arriving in the evening, which is, however, greatly weakened by the strengthening southerly foehn wind in the mountains.
