On the first floor of the listed Widum, the 50 m² exhibition is dedicated to the diverse nature and cultural topics around Vent. An impressive photo gallery shows the traditional shaft drive between Vent and South Tyrol. The rich settlement history around Vent is excitingly told. The mountain farms of Rotte Rofen, often called Rofenhöfe, are located at an altitude of 2,014 m and about one kilometre to the west and 114 metres higher than Vent in the Ötztal Alps. Like Vent itself, the farms form part of the municipality of Sölden in the Ötztal.The Rofenhöfe are the highest, year-round farmsteads in Austria (2014 m). The Gasthof Rofenhof is open (highseason, restday in summer on monday, restday in winter on sunday).
