The mirror of the mountains.The lake is a popular destination for young and old.Swimming is allowed at the bathing area and rowing boats can be rented. In summer, the lake reaches a water temperature of up to 24°C, making it one of the warmest bathing lakes in Tyrol.You can reach Lake Piburg from Oetz, Habichen, Piburg or Sautens on many different hiking and walking trails. Art History Collection.In the middle of the old town center of Oetz, the tower museum is easy to find due to its architecture.in the Middle Ages, the “tower” of a landed noble family served as a residence in the middle of the settlement of farms. In modern times it was the administrative seat of the goods of the Frauenchiemsee monastery in the Ötztal.After many decades of diverse use by the municipality of Oetz, the building was thoroughly renovated and finally opened in 2004 as a museum.
