Is it the clean and crisp mountain air that makes so hungry or the hand-rolled dumplings, the fluffy Kaiserschmarrn, the varied homemade specialties? However, a stop in Sölden's traditionally serviced mountain huts and Alpine pasture inns is an absolute must and you will soon find out why. Some are conveniently located close to the valley floor, others can be reached after a short mountain gondola ride or by hut taxi, still others only by a long walk on foot. In all places you can expect freshly prepared mountain food, jovial hut atmosphere and uninterrupted mountain vistas.
Lovingly prepared Austrian dishes are served in the cozy Wirtshausstube parlor or on the separate, sheltered Wirtshaus terrace. Your meals are accompanied by selected premium wines of local winemakers or fresh draft beers. Stop off at the inviting Wirtshaus Bar and enjoy a cappuccino, a glass of wine or beer. Early birds can book a sumptuous breakfast in the Wirtshaus to boost their energy level for the day's skiing.

A warm welcome to the Bergzauber in Sölden. You can expect a warm and romantic cabin atmosphere. The hut is located directly on the Gaislachkogl valley run and is an après-ski haunt for winter skiers and close to the panorama trail for hikers and pedestrians. In addition, the hut offers a magical view over the village. Widely known for its outstanding cuisine, in a rustic yet stylish ambience, more than just home-style food is served. The Bergzauber offers an atmospheric setting for every celebration, such as a hut evening, hen party, Christmas party, baptism, birthday party. From the buffet to the gala menu, the festivities should also remain culinary unforgettable.

The Hut: At Gampe Thaya only local produce from our own farms is used to prepare typical Ötztal specialties which are served in the cosy wooden parlors or on the wonderful sunbathing terrace. For a spontaneous, short and easy tour, a hike to the Sahnestüberl is suitable. Fiegl's Hütte on Windachalm 1985m:Visit our Fiegl's Hütte in the romantic Windachtal,better known as "LITTLE CANADA" among mountain and hunting aficionados.Approx. 1h45min. walking time from Sölden. It's also possible to take the bus line from Sölden to us. The bus stops approx. 500m in front of our hut. For bike aficionados there are plenty of singletrail routes in all difficulties leading from and to the hut.Tasty dishes, refreshing drinks and a cozy spot with a great view right to the Stubai and Ötztal Alps...Fiegl's Hütte...amidst "Sölden's quiet part". It's the starting point for scenic mountain hikes e.g. to the "Zuckerhütl", the highest mountain in the Stubai Alps, as well as various hut hikes: Hochstubaihütte 4-5h, Siegerlandhütte 3h, Hildesheimerhütte 3h and Brunnenkogelhaus 3h, Kleble Alm 2h.However, if these tours are too demanding, you can also hike leisurely in the Windachtal - without high gradients - on a comfortable hiking path.
