Reviving south foehn will bring sunny weather! We are situated on the front side of a low-pressure system over Western Europe, in a foehn-like southerly flow, through which much milder Mediterranean air is now reaching us. Especially in the mountains, the southerly wind will pick up, causing the air north of the main Alpine ridge to dry out more, allowing plenty of space for the sun. However, it is cloudier along the Alpine main ridge.
